Types of Funeral

We are here to support you with care, compassion and the utmost respect, whatever type of funeral you feel is right for your loved one.

Tailored to your family

We arrange all forms of funerals, including traditional services in cemeteries or crematoria, as well as more natural settings such as woodland burials. Every family is unique, and we take great care to listen to your wishes, ensuring that each detail is handled with sensitivity and dignity.

No request is considered too unusual if it helps to create a meaningful and personal farewell.

Direct Cremation

In recent years, direct cremation—where no formal service takes place—has become an increasingly chosen option. While this may be a simpler arrangement, we firmly believe that simplicity should never come at the expense of dignity or respect.

Unlike many providers, who may use a private ambulance or estate vehicle and a minimal attendance, we are proud to uphold the full standards of a traditional funeral, even for a direct cremation. We believe we are among the very few funeral directors who continue to provide a dedicated hearse, a professional Funeral Director, and pallbearers to carry your loved one with the utmost care (in line with health and safety guidance). The cortege is conducted with dignity throughout, including the respectful pausing of the procession.

The only difference between a direct cremation and a traditional cremation is that there is no service or spoken tribute within the chapel. Every other aspect—the care, the presentation, and the respect shown—remains exactly the same.

Our commitment is simple: to ensure that every farewell, however it is chosen, is carried out with grace, dignity and heartfelt care.
